The 10 Things to Look Out for in a Poker Website
Playing poker is something that has long been enjoyed by men and women alike. Online poker is becoming just as popular. You can have all of the fun playing poker, but you do so from your home. When you set out to find your poker website, here are a few things for you to look for:
1.Poker rules. While this isn’t so much about the poker website as it is about you, it’s still important. You have to know the ins and outs of poker to find a good poker website.
2.Games offered. This goes without saying as you want a wide variety of poker games that you can play at your disposal.
3.Rollover Bonus. This is when you roll your winnings into your account balance and the poker website matches a percentage of your winnings or you balance because you don’t withdraw it.
4.Level of competition. You may just want to play a couple of hands to pass the time. However, you may want to compete in a tournament or with players of high experience level.
5.Amount of winnings. If you want to play on a poker website that puts a limitation on how much you can wager and win, then find one that suits your needs. If you want to play on a site that lets you win and wager any amount, you can find one like that too.
6.Ease of withdrawing your winnings. You don’t want to have to jump through hoops that will take you days to get your money. You want to play on a poker website that allows you to simply and easily get your winnings.
7.Popularity of the site. Most people want the opportunity to play with a crowd. With certain poker websites having more than 15,000 playing at one time, you should be able to play with a variety of people, when you want to.
8.Customer support. You want to be able to get the site’s support team 24/7.
9.Free versions. For those that are testing the waters so to speak, you want to find a poker website that offers free versions of play.
10.Quality of software. This is the biggie. You want to make sure that the software that your poker site is using is compatible with a variety of operating systems, and internet browsers and you want to make sure that the glitches are minimal, or nonexistent all together.

Superbowl XLIII
In 2008, Super Bowl XLII featured the champion New York Giants from the National Football Conference pitted against the New England Patriots of the American Football Conference. This would crown the champions for the 2007 football season.
This was one of the most significant upsets in the history of the Super Bowl. The New York Giants, who had a 14-6 winning record, were playing against the New England Patriots who had an 18-1 winning record. Everything pointed to the Patriots winning the game. Well, it’s not over till it’s over! In a stunning upset, the New York Giants beat the New England Patriots by a score of 17-14. This prevented the Patriots from becoming the first team that was undefeated since the 1972 Miami Dolphins.
The Giants made a bit of history becoming the first wild card team from the NFC to ever win a Super Bowl. This was New York’s first title since January 1991 when they played in Super Bowl XXV. Bill Belichick coached the New England Patriots and the tagline for this Super Bowl was “Who Wants It More?” It was quite evident that the New York Giants were hungry for victory.
The Super Bowl Game was held on February 3, 2008, in Glendale, Arizona at the University of Phoenix Football Stadium. It turned out to be a rematch of the final game in the regular season. The New England Patriots came into Super Bowl XLII as 12-point favorites.

The broadcast of the XLII Super Bowl achieved the highest Nielsen ratings for any game watched since Super Bowl XXXIV. This Super Bowl game was also the second most watched television program of all time here in the U.S.
This was indeed one of the greatest upsets in all of Super Bowl history. The New York Giants derailed the perfect season of the New England Patriots and they also turned around a mediocre regular season.
The New York Giants were 12 point underdogs as they headed into Super Bowl XLII. The New York Giants overcame the highest point spread to put the icing on the cake since the New England Patriots the St. Louis Rams as 14 point underdogs at Super Bowl XXXVI in 2001.

4 Ways To Cheat At Sports Betting
Are you looking for ways to cheat at sports betting? Truthfully, cheating at the art of sports prediction is a complicated topic. After all, provided that professional or amateur sports are not staged, a bettor cannot cheat as in influencing the outcome of a game. Rather he or she is trying to capitalize on what naturally happens in the course of a game. The only way to cheat would be to use some insider knowledge, not open to the public, to your advantage. While you may find a way to cheat the bookie out of money with spreads or money lines, but for the most part cheating in sports is synonymous with strategizing beyond the efforts of your opponents.
1.Know the sport better than anyone else.
The best way to “cheat” (at least to the extent that you will be called a cheater by others) is to research and study the game better than the public. Whereas everyone else will concentrate on the peripheral statistics, you can actually improve your prediction odds by considering other data like historical statistics, team trends, situation trends, angles, inflated numbers and physical conditions of a game. Additionally, you can make more money by focusing on less popular sports or leagues; this way you will have made a niche for yourself by researching a sport no one else but you may fully understand.
2.Sign up with gambling insider companies.
This is definitely an edge that most opponents will not have. You can order picks from gambling experts and use this insider information along with your own interpretation of sports data. Most companies are willing to offer free picks, as well as the reasoning behind their prediction, and a guarantee of an improved betting average.
3.Make arbitrage or exotic bets.
You can actually make more money by betting arbitrage or exotic bets, than risking it all in the biggest competition. If you know something is going to happen based on your game analysis then make it a bet. While it may not seem likely to others at the time, an arbitrage bet may turn in your favor—and all regardless of the final score.
4.Learn to spot square or sucker lines.
Sometimes these betting lines are fabricated to sway public opinion. Learn to avoid the sucker lines and don’t be afraid to bet against public opinion. Statistics in sports gambling have observed that the public is easily swayed by fabricated lines and odds. (Some even speculate the industry does this in order to take in bigger profits) If you see through a sucker line and vote your heart you may be able to walk home with big bucks while everyone else slaps down their hat in disappointment.

4 Ways To Cheat At Casinos
You may have heard that casinos don’t like cheaters, and are more than willing to rough up any rule breakers who are defying the odds and taking home money illegally. However, when it comes to felony and fraud charges, it is only considered cheating when a player is using an electronic aid or similar tool designed to unfairly cheat the casino or dealer. Card counting is not considered a crime, and it’s left up to the casino whether or not to ban such a talented person. Rest assured, most casinos will not allow it and may make it seem like a greater offense than it is. Because casino security guards are so vengeful, cheating is not recommended. However, you did ask so here are five tips on casino cheating.
1.Counting Cards in Blackjack
The classic Hi-Lo method involves a player starting with 0 at the shuffle. Then for every 10, face card or ace that is dealt, take away one point. For every card 2-6, add one point. Then make 7, 8 and 9 as zero points. (You can also let cards cancel each other out) Before each hand, divide your count by the estimated number of decks left. When you hit +2 you know it’s time to bet. Try not to move your lips as you do the math or most casinos will kick you out.
2.Marking in Poker
Poker is an easier game to “rig” since you will often play against human opponents. Marking cards involves marking the back-end of cards through a variety of methods including blocking out parts of the card, shading parts of the card or scratching it. Then the player will either use special contact lenses or sunglasses to see the alteration, or may be able to read the marks with his own eye.
3.Dicing Dice in Craps
Cheating in craps involves either a player slipping in altered dice (which may be weighted down rounded out on one side to increase the odds of a high number) or manipulating legitimate dice. You can improve your odds at rolling your desired number by placing the wanted number face up in your hand and then moving your hand so that it remains in the position, whether rolling or landing flat. If you master this technique, be subtle about it as casinos do look for this and will not hesitate to send you on your way.
4.Outsmarting the Slot Machines
Though slot machines are improving in technology, some are still susceptible to the old “fake quarter” trick, so as long as the fake is the same size, makeup and density as the casino-provided quarters. Additionally, scammers have found that attaching string to a quarter can fool some slot machines into thinking you have placed a bet.

As The NFL Season Draws Near
Now that the NFL season is drawing near once again and teams’ training camps get into gear, the time has come for you to review your online football betting know-how.
And it makes a lot of sense to bet on football via the Internet. Internet sports betting “casinos” are convenient; you are much more in control than you are with telephoning some seedy bookie; the best names (which are usually publicly traded companies) are very safe; the customer service is great because Internet casinos are very hungry for your business; you don’t have to be a high stakes player to be wanted; sports betting sites want everybody’s business and they go out of their way to be great for you in order to get it; and, they have more options to offer you.
Now when it comes to strategy: If you’re going to be placing online bets on NFL games, you’ll want to be familiar with NFL key numbers. NFL key numbers have to do with the fact that the majority of all NFL games end with the same margin of victory. What this means for you is it’s very important to study this angle so you can smartly cover the point spreads.
17% of all NFL games end with a three-point victory. Another 10% end with a 7-point victory. 6% end with a 10-point victory and 6% of victories are of six points. 4% of NFL games are won by four points. Thus, 43% of all NFL games will end with just one of these five point margins, and all of those margins fall within the range of what matters for sports betting winning or losing when the factor of point spreads is factored in.
It’s important to understand that these point spreads are most important in the most widely used form of NFL betting, which is the side bet. In these, the team that bookmakers consider to be the underdog get the better point spread, so that the team that’s expected to win also has to win by at least a certain amount of points for you to win your bet. So, for instance, if you bet on the team that does win the game, but the point spread was 5.5 and they only won by five points, you lose your money. (They had to win by at least six points to cover the spread.)
But you can also bet on total points. When you do this, you estimate how many total points you think both teams will score in the game, regardless of who will win or lose. The bookmakers will also do this and they will set the total points number for the game. You bet on whether or not the point total will be Under or Over that total. But this same kind of betting can get more complex and varied with what are called “proposition” bets. With a “prop” bet you can wager on a wide array of factors: what will be the score at halftime; which starting QB will throw for more yards; who will have the most tackles; etc.
For a more long term approach to NFL betting you can try the futures market. With this kind of betting, you wager at the start of the season on who will win a certain division, who will win the AFC/NFC, who will win the Super Bowl.
So as the new NFL season draws near, start contemplating your online betting! It’s fun, and you just may make some serious money.

9 Ways To Win At Sports Betting
If you are looking to try your luck at sports betting then know that you do have greater odds of winning in this game than you would in roulette or craps. While those are games of chance, sports betting is a game of predicting a foreseeable outcome. Here are some tips on how to win big at the big game.
9.Place Bets on the Right Sports Book
Statistics suggest that placing bets with the correct sports book will make a big difference, and increase the odds of winning by 3%.
8.Bet Against the Public
There are some that claim that “fading the public” can be profitable. This has led many bettors to bet on the other team than is predicted.
7.Do Your Homework Before the Game
The best way to win sports betting is to research all aspects of a game, especially circumstances and data that others would not consider. Not even bookies will have time to research every sport and every game. Therefore, if you can create a niche for yourself, you could become an expert on a smaller conferences and find yourself winning big money.
6.Choose the Underdog at Home
Statistically speaking, it’s a good idea to bet on an underdog at home. A team will put forth their best effort at home stadium and underdogs have a way of triumphing over the odds in general. Using this strategy you may beat the odds too.
5.Bet at Just the Right Time
Bettors who bet on underdogs usually bet early. Therefore, if you are betting on an underdog try and bet late. If you are betting on the favorite then bet early. Going against the grain in sports gambling is often a smart move.
4.Make Arbitrage Bets
You can make money on sure bets regardless of the outcome of a game with arbitrage bets. The advantage of these bets is that it doesn’t matter what the outcome of a game is, since the only bet you made was on a specific happening.
3.Square or Sucker Lines
Many betters try to stay away from square lines (that is, lines that are designed to lure public opinion into betting a certain way) and in the end, can even make money off these phony wagers if they can closely monitor the betting percentages.
2.Never Gamble While Drinking
This may be common knowledge to some, a great shock to others. However, when you drink an alcoholic beverage, your judgment will be significantly clouded. A drink may also give you that extra “courage” to make a rash and expensive decision.
1.Manage your Gambling Money
Another lesson in common sense that is often ignored when it comes time to put down a wager: never bet more than you can afford to lose. In fact, it is recommended that you set aside a portion of your money for betting and to stick with it, regardless of your winnings or losses. Lastly, try to spread your total among a few smaller bets rather than risk it all on one sure thing that may not be as predictable as everyone thinks.

6 Ways To Win At Casinos

You can win big at the casino and you don’t even have to cheat. (Or risk bodily harm from security guards) Before you start playing with a strategy in mind, remember that gambling is supposed to be fun. If you find yourself on a losing streak then it’s best to walk away and try your luck later. When you’re on a roll and have money to spare, remember these tips.
1.Calculate the Cost
You can calculate the average hourly cost of playing a casino game by the number of bets you make per hour times the size of the bets times the house edge. If you can find a way to average about $7.50 an hour, then you can count it as a trip to the movies with free drinks. Reminding yourself of this will help you to stay sane and know when to quit—whether you’re ahead or are come away with just a minimal loss.
2.Calculate the Odds
It also helps if you create your own odds before playing so that you will know how probably the outcome of a game will be. Compare the number of ways to success with the number of ways of failure. For example, if you’re rolling dice and looking for a lucky number 6, your odds are 5-1. This may even help you decide which games are worth playing.
3.Let Go of Superstitions
Accept the fact that there is no such thing as good luck. Just because you may be experiencing some short-term success does not mean that this is your destined night. Lucky streaks are either examples of dumb luck or the casino drawing you in to pay more money.
4.Play the Games that Require Skill
Instead of dwelling on luck, focus on games that require learned skill—which will vastly improve your odds. For example, you can count cards with games like Blackjack, form a strategy with video poker or out-maneuver human opponents at traditional poker tables. Even sports betting requires some skill in prediction.
5.Use Mathematics, Don’t Play Against It
You have to view casino winnings in the short term, because this is where you will ultimately make your money. If you calculate the odds of winning in the long-term, the math says that you will lose everything. Keep this in mind when the opportunity arises to double your bets and buy more chances than you can reasonably afford.
6.Use the Experience of Others
Rather than learn mistakes on your own (though taking notes is a good move) try to learn better odds from casino gambling history. For example, experts say that in craps the bets are on the outside of the table. In slot machines, the higher denomination you play, the better the payback will be. Experience is the best teacher, but education is usually free while trying your luck at the casino remains expensive!

7 Ways To Win At Poker

Are you looking for ways to out-play the guys or girls at the next big poker game in town? You may hear that poker is a game of chance and that it’s the luck of the draw that determines the winner. However, poker is considered a strategic game. Though you have to factor in randomization and chance, you can plan reactive playing strategies that will keep you slightly ahead of everyone else. Here are 7 tips to keep in mind when playing poker for fun or for cash.
1.Keep a Poker Face
You may have heard of the poker face in casual conversation, but realize that it is one of the most important factors in a game, because part of the poker strategy is to read the other players. You are trying to determine what hands they have, as well as what their next move will be. Likewise, know that they are reading your face as well. The less they know from the look on your face (or your words) the better.
2.Take a Banker’s Point of View
Since this game is all about accumulating wealth (or at least chocolate poker chips) then you have to approach your strategy from a businessman’s standpoint. This means that you must anticipate an approximate figure of every possible move, and figure out what has the best return, as well as the lowest risk factor.
3.Take a Bookie’s Point of View
Try and calculate the odds of a play, and whether or not the return is greater than the odds. If the odds are in your favor then bet high!
4.Fake It Till You Make It
Bluffing is a part of the winning poker strategy. However, resist the temptation to overact just for the fun of it, and limit your bluffing technique to when it is most tactically appropriate.
5.Analyze Your Own Patterns
The worst thing you can do in poker is to form a pattern of play that the other players can easily pick up on. Whether you are bluffing, strategizing or risk-taking, don’t allow the other players to learn your behavior.
6.Be Unpredictable
In fact, you should concentrate on remaining unpredictable and disguising your plays, so that your opponents will waste time trying to figure out your mock behavior. Keep them chasing after illusions while you form a true strategy.
7.Play Pictionary
One of the best tips you will ever learn in playing poker is to memorize cards that have already been played. This increases your odds of winning, as you start to factor out various combinations that your opponent could be playing. People make big money off playing poker—a game that is surely not left up to chance!
